  • Passport

  • Income of at least $3,500/month

  1. Collect necessary documents

Successful visa applicants receive a resident ID, which allows them to access most services — much like the city’s other residents. With the ID, renting accommodations and opening bank accounts can be easy. You could even apply for a loan from a financial institution.

You must, however, note that staying outside the UAE for a period of more than six months could automatically lead to the cancellation of your visa.

As a DN, I’d say it’s a little interesting to see this alternate economy function. The number of authentic restaurants due to the local immigrant population is awesome. I miss food there.
