Priceline Launches ‘Go to Your Happy Price’ Campaign

Norwalk, CT–Priceline, an online travel bookings platform that specializes in offering “deep discounts” for travel-related purchases, announced launching a brand promotion campaign after four years in a news release published on February 8.

Per the release, the ‘Go to your Happy Price’ campaign will debut on February 12, right before the commencement of the first Superbowl 2023 match, and employs a one-of-a-kind marketing campaign starring their brand ambassador Hollywood actress Kaley Cuoco who popularly starred in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

“I began working with Priceline ten years ago because I believe in their mission to make travel accessible for everyone,” said Kaley Cuoco in the release.

The advertisement, or “mini-episode,” is an interactive interface cum comedy series in which viewers can access hidden deals and offers by clicking on “props,” which appear therein.

Priceline revealed that each episode contained a total of $5 million in vouchers, the first of which would be aired right before the game, with additional deals “unlocking” at halftime on the opening day of the Superbowl, which kicks off on February 12, 2023, at 6:30 pm ET. 

Deals offered include:

  • $1,000 coupons for Priceline Hotel Express Deals – available for travel anywhere – only accessible during the game
  • 99% off travel to Maui and Cancun
  • $500 off trips to California

“Our new campaign speaks to consumers for whom travel isn’t just what they do, it’s a part of who they are,” said Lesley Klein, SVP of Strategy and Brand Marketing at Priceline, in the release.

According to the release, the bookings platform will conduct an extensive marketing drive across multiple platforms over the year, including social media influencer campaigns and ads on audio and streaming platforms.

“Consumers have emerged from the last few years with a renewed appreciation for travel’s role in their lives. Travel is now prioritized as essential to joy and well-being,” added Klein.

The idea and execution for the ‘Go to your Happy Price’ campaign is a collaboration effort between Priceline and award-winning advertisement agency, Mirimar.
