San Francisco,CA–AutoCamp Hospitality Group announced in a news release the launching of a new hotel brand called FieldStation, which would provide rooms as basecamps for visitors to popular outdoor locations in the United States.
The report describes that a FieldStation outlet would offer a variety of accommodations such as cabins, rooms, and camping, each spacious enough to store all one’s gear.
The release noted that each outlet would also have a rental/retail shop for outdoor equipment, a campfire station, a bar and restaurant, a swimming pool, and an outdoor screening facility. The facility also has certified guides, curate adventures, and conduct instruction classes for guests and locals.
According to the report, the first two outlets are scheduled to open in 2023 in Moab, Utah, and Joshua Tree, California. The business model involves upscaling and renovating existing lodges and motels into operational outdoor camping facilities. The report reveals that there would be several types of rooms available and that the off-season tariff starts at $159 per night.
“There are many exciting locations around the country that cater to adventurous travelers yet fall short in the hospitality category, said Neil Dipaola founder of AutoCamp Hospitality Group Field Station, in the release.
The report highlights that FieldStation has partnered with brands such as Dometic Outdoor, Black Diamond, Outdoor Research, and Picture Organic Clothing. It urges companies seeking partnerships and collaborations to get in touch.
“We believe the world would be a better place if more people could experience the outdoors, so we’re on a mission to empower all people to get outside with greater comfort, ease, knowledge, and support,” added Dipaola in the release.
